John received his instructor training and certification from legendary swing coach, Jimmy Ballard, one of the top 50 golf instructors in the world, and has taught in the Boston area for more than 15yrs. John has also coached our Acton-Boxborough High School Golf Team from 1999-2015.

Adult Private

• Single Session – $75 – 45 minutes
• Series of 5 – $325

Adult Semi-Private

• Single Session – $60 pp – 45 minutes
• Series of 5 – $275 pp

Junior Private (Under 17)

• Single Session – $55 – 30 minutes
• Series of 5 – $225

Junior Semi-Private

• Single Session – $40 pp – 30 minutes
• Series of 5 – $175 pp

Specialty Lessons

• Full Day Golf Clinic – includes 9-hole playing lesson (6+ hours).  Virtually all aspects of the game are covered in three segments during this day long clinic (6 hours).  The full swing and six specialty shots are demonstrated and followed by one-on-one instruction and group practice.  Then it’s onto the course for a playing lesson followed by a 1/2 hr post round practice session.  A complete “learn to golf” program for the beginner and a structured improvement program for the intermediate golfer.
  • $295 pp- 2 to 4 players – $395 private
• Half Day Short Game Clinic (2.5 hours) – The scoring zone is 75 yards in.  This 2.5 hour clinic teaches proper technique for the 6 specialty shots and shot selection thru risk/reward analysis.  It is the ideal ‘next step’ instructional program for golfers who want to improve their game and shoot lower scores.
  • $145 pp – 2 to 4 players – $195 private
• Nine Hole Playing Lesson(2.5 hours) – A Playing Lesson is the ideal format to develop good course management skills.  You’ll evaluate each situation faced during the round:  lie, distance, potential trouble and discuss options using risk/reward analysis before each player executes the chosen shot.  The scramble format allows time for explanation and discussion on each shot while maintaining pace of play.
